Open House at St. Michael's College School

Open House on Thursday at 07:30 PM - 2 hours

    St. Michael's College School

The St. Michael's College School Open House event really should be experienced first-hand. We begin at 7:30 p.m. with a 45-minute presentation in our Centre for the Arts demonstrating how education and formation at St. Michael's College School provide a foundation for a young man's life. Our student hosts introduce speakers who address the nature of our faith-based, university preparatory programme. Topics include our Deep Learning Inquiry model, our Constellation of Care, our Outdoor Education Programme, Admissions criteria, and important dates. Student Ambassadors provide families with personal tours of our facilities where parents meet Administrators, Admissions personnel, Directors, Department Heads, and teaching faculty. Families and candidates have the opportunity to engage in interactive presentations as well as to meet with the coaches, moderators, and coordinators of our 29 Athletic and 19 Arts programmes and our more than 50 clubs and activities.
Our view is that the Open House experience should serve the needs of families and their sons. Families are free to bring their questions to inquire about all aspects of our Basilian model of education while being free to explore the range and scope of our facilities.
Given that our model of formation is founded on the principle that education is a partnership of the parents, their sons, and the members of our school community, we strongly encourage families to bring their sons and their friends.
